Goat Yoga | Pet A Goat

Updated: Nov 7, 2021

There's nothing quite like it!

Goat yoga. It doesn't quite sound real, but it is! This is a great activity for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a yoga professional or a first-timer, this is a super fun activity for you, your friends, or the whole family.

So what does goat yoga include? As you do yoga, goats will walk around you and jump on your back. Everyone sits around in a big circle as the goats walk around you. Caretakers come around to make sure everyone gets time with the goats. Alpacas and baby goats will also come by. There are many good times to take pictures and hold the baby goats.

Of course, animals are still animals. Be aware anything you bring will most likely be pooped on or a baby goat may try to eat it. Be vigilant with your things so they don't get eaten. You will need to bring your own yoga mat or rent one at the place. They also have merchandise there if you are interested in goat plushies or stickers.

Surprise guest

The goats are often dressed up as well. They can be dressed up for different events and themes. Themes can include things such as Saint Patrick's or Valentines Day. The area itself is a nice farm area, also great for pictures.

Pet a goat. If you'd like a relaxing stroll around a farm with goats, head over to Schnepf Farms.

Here there is a petting zoo which includes goats, cows, chickens, and pigs. There's no admission fee to walk the farm unless there's a special event taking place. Over the years of us visiting, we have found peacocks, deer, and a cat on the grounds. It's so relaxing and an affordable way to visit a farm multiple times.

While exploring you may come across a seasonal U-Pick Garden and Orchards being offered. Their garden flowers and blooming trees are an extra treat. They also have a Country Store with yummy baked goods and fresh produce to match the time of the year. Happenings at the farm offer a large range of entertainment. Festival rides, picking peaches, and even concerts may be taking place. Check out their latest news here.

Schnepf Farms is located at 24810 E Rittenhouse Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
