A great way to get a feel for Scottsdale.

Art walks will show you different places to walk around and look at art and interesting things along the way. The link to the Scottsdale Art Walk can be found here.
The area of this art walk is bike friendly and has bike shops along the path. There are also tours around the area on bikes and motorized Segways if you are interested in that. However, you can walk this walk completely free if you choose to be self-guided.
One should plan one to two hours for this art walk. The G.O.T. Team casually walked it and made the full circle in about two hours. Parking itself can be a bit of a pain, but we were able to find a three hour parking spot very close to the area.
Along the way, between number five and six on the art walk list, you will find a very nice bathroom. It is a great stopping point along the art walk trail.
Overall, this is a great walk to help get a feel for the area. You can always start on the walk and go completely off trail to see some of the wonderful sights and shops around. You can start on the trail and not end on it, pick and choose what you want to see, or fully follow the trail. The power is in your hands.
